Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician supports safe, efficient production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing machinery, equipment, and facility systems. This role focuses on minimizing downtime and ensure consistent production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production lines, conveyors, motors, pumps, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, completing timely repairs to reduce downtime
  • Install, set up, and assist with commissioning new machinery and equipment as directed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, equipment manuals, and work orders to plan and execute tasks.
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed using welding, cutting, and machining tools (within skill level)
  • Inspect equipment, identify hazards or wear issues, and recommend corrective actions or improvements
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage
  • Follow all plant safety rules, lockout/tagout, and OSHA requirements
  • Collaborate with production operators and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair of production equipment
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, basic electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial safety practices
  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills for email, work orders, and maintenance logs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements and Schedule:

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
  • PPE is provided and required

Schedule:

1st Shift: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Thursday

7:00 am to 3:30 pm Friday

(Rotating) 7:00 am to Noon or 3:30 pm on Saturdays

2nd Shift: 3:30 pm to 1:00 am Monday thru Thursday

3:30 pm to 12:00 am Friday

(Rotating) 7:00 am to Noon or 3:30 pm on Saturday

Overtime required as needed to support production

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay range: $30.00 per hour and up, based on experience and qualifications
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid time off, holidays, 401(k) and Profit Sharing subject to company policy.
